Green, Purpose, Digital and SME
Our committees are a member-only benefit that allow for like-minded individuals to connect, collaborate, deep-dive and ultimately drive the broader AustCham Singapore agenda across key interest areas.
The leadership of our Committees is from our voluntary board members who play the roles of chair and vice chair and ultimately set the Committees’ agendas. Each Committee is supported by a member of our executive team to ensure the smooth running and alignment with the broader agenda of AustCham Singapore.
Our Committees are open to all members of AustCham Singapore. There is no cap on the numbers and no expectation for members to commit a certain amount of time. Our committees are designed to provide a space for members to engage more deeply in our four key focus areas: Green, Purpose, Digital and SME.

Green Committee
The Green Committee aims to create a community of engagement within the AustCham Singapore membership to discuss issues and identify opportunities related to the environment.
Join to be part of driving new ideas and opportunities for connection, insights and advocacy with the wider AustCham Singapore community.
In consultation with our membership, the Green Committee’s focus areas include:
- Reflections from and planning for COP
- Government to Business opportunities
- Green skills
- Singapore-Australia Green Economy Agreement
The Green Committee meets on a bi-monthly basis to push this agenda forward. Details of meetings will be uploaded to our events page.
The running of the Committee will also be supported by Kalyn Oh, our Operations Manager.

Purpose Committee
The Purpose Committee aims to create a community of engagement within the AustCham Singapore membership to discuss issues and identify opportunities on topics with a purpose focus.

In consultation with our membership, the Purpose Committee’s focus areas include:
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Mental Wellbeing
- Giving Back
The Purpose Committee will meet on a quarterly basis to push this agenda forward.
The running of the Committee will also be supported by Emily Walker, our Executive Director.

Digital Committee
The Digital Committee aims to create a community of engagement within the AustCham Singapore membership to discuss issues and identify opportunities related to technology, including but not limited to the Singapore-Australia Digital Economy Agreement and technological advancements.

In consultation with our membership, the Digital Committee’s focus areas include:
- Improving access to the digital ecosystem in Singapore for latest insights, knowledge sharing & networking
- Receiving and sharing regular updates from the Australian High Commission on policy development and actions
- Engagement with the Singapore Government Digital related agencies for knowledge sharing and exploration for collaboration
- Supporting AU & SG digital startups, scale ups and beyond to navigate, network and gain insights on both countries
- Looking at opportunities for co-hosting smaller inter-chamber digital events targeted at knowledge sharing, learning and networking.

The running of the Committee will also be supported by Liting Xu, our Head of Member Communications.

SME Committee
The SME Committee aims to create an active community of engagement within the AustCham Singapore membership to discuss issues and opportunities unique to SME and Startups.

In consultation with our membership, the SME Committee’s focus areas include:
- Networking within the SME community
- Greater access to government and regulators
- Deep-diving into topics of specific interest to SMEs
